Friendly management team at the front desk.
Our experience was absolutely dreadful. The carpet in our room was stained, and it reeked of mildew. Furthermore, the bathroom was a complete disaster. the sink wouldn't drain properly, and there was mold around the shower. I had to deal with these issues right after check-in, which ruined my mood. I feel cheated out of my money for such a miserable stay.

Family with children will enjoy it
We stayed in a two-bedroom suite and it had a cold AC, which was crucial for the unbearable heat. The kids loved the pool and the ice cream stand nearby was a hit!
It wasn't exactly a bargain, but it was still acceptable.

Our stay was overshadowed by loud disturbances at night. Management was unhelpful, creating a tense environment, especially for our child. We left early, seeking comfort elsewhere. For a stress-free family trip, consider paying a bit more for a peaceful stay.

fantastic access to parks and local attractions for weekend explorers
During our stay, we loved how close we were to Mustang Island State Park, which was just a few steps away, making it perfect for our city strolls, and we were pleasantly surprised to find the Port Aransas Nature Preserve less than 2 km away, offering stunning views and tranquil walking paths. the staff was friendly, making our family with children feel right at home while exploring the charming area, but the rooms could use a few updates for an even better experience.

pleasant stay but some improvements needed
The two-bedroom cottage offered ample space and was well-equipped with a complete kitchen, including all necessary utensils. The air conditioning system functioned excellently, keeping each room cool during the humid days.
However, I found the location a bit lacking in scenic views.

Dined nearby at Ziggy's Hideout and loved the fresh seafood at Castaways—definitely finger-lickin' goodness! Plus, the resort's picnic area was the perfect spot to unwind with a snack after a day in the sun!
The AC unit control was acting up, making the main bedroom hotter than a Texas summer. The kitchen lacked basic supplies like a blender and didn’t even have decent pots to whip up a little meal.

Everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. The surroundings were well-maintained and the pool and hot tub were enjoyable. The bungalow accommodated my needs well, providing ample space for relaxation after a long day of work.
