    insufficient kitchen supplies

Dined nearby at Ziggy's Hideout and loved the fresh seafood at Castaways—definitely finger-lickin' goodness! Plus, the resort's picnic area was the perfect spot to unwind with a snack after a day in the sun!

The AC unit control was acting up, making the main bedroom hotter than a Texas summer. The kitchen lacked basic supplies like a blender and didn’t even have decent pots to whip up a little meal.

fantastic access to parks and local attractions for weekend explorers

During our stay, we loved how close we were to Mustang Island State Park, which was just a few steps away, making it perfect for our city strolls, and we were pleasantly surprised to find the Port Aransas Nature Preserve less than 2 km away, offering stunning views and tranquil walking paths. the staff was friendly, making our family with children feel right at home while exploring the charming area, but the rooms could use a few updates for an even better experience.

during our recent stay, we loved how close we were to Joan and Scott Holt Paradise Pond, just a short walk away, where we enjoyed serene park views, and it was great to have Port Aransas Museum only a bit over a kilometer away for a leisurely stroll exploring local history, though the restroom had some initial issues, they quickly addressed it while we enjoyed our family time.

    enjoyable pool
    unclean room
    poor service

Everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. The surroundings were well-maintained and the pool and hot tub were enjoyable. The bungalow accommodated my needs well, providing ample space for relaxation after a long day of work.

The room cleanliness was definitely below standard.

    spacious cottage
    efficient cooling
    limited scenic views

The two-bedroom cottage offered ample space and was well-equipped with a complete kitchen, including all necessary utensils. The air conditioning system functioned excellently, keeping each room cool during the humid days.

However, I found the location a bit lacking in scenic views.

    outdoor dining
    picnic tables
    fresh seafood
    no breakfast
    dirty room

The outdoor dining area was the perfect chill spot after exploring local eats like the scrumptious seafood at Castaways! Plus, the access to picnic tables was a lifesaver for enjoying snacks in the sun.

The lack of a breakfast option was a bummer, and finding the front desk closed after 5 PM left us feeling a bit stranded. Also, the room cleanliness was off, with some hair lingering around and low water pressure in the shower.
